Secrétaire d'État sous les regnes d'Henri III et IV, ambassadeur en Espagne et intendant général des Bâtiments de la Couronne
1565, Conseiller du bureau des finances, Commissaire en Provence. Il redigea l'Edit de Nantes et accompagna le Roi en Savoie lors de l'echange du Marquisat de Saluces.

Gustave A. Bourgeois 1857-1911 address book, was Sunny Side, Princes Park,
Liverpool, England.
Sunnyside, Princes Park, Liverpool, is a three-storey curving terrace, consisting of four pairs of semi-detached Victorian villas. All the details are particularly good with particular reference to the Tuscan style porches and the windows with their Gothic style geometric glazing bars.

- Isaac Forget ne a Geneve le 5 fevrier 1749, mort le 20 octobre 1816, apprenti chez Jacques Avril, fut recu maitre orfevre le 27 decembre 1785, ayant presente pour chef-d'oeuvre un jonc d'une tresse au milieu d'or, se demontant en trois. Admis a la bourgeoisie gratis, comme natif, le 15 fevrier 1790, il fit partie du Conseil legislatif en 1796. Maitre graveur.

Zwilchenbart, de Bale, que l'age a contrait de donner sa demission, M. Charles FORGET, de Geneve, fils de l'honorable M. J.-P. Forget, ancien conservateur des hypotheques de notre canton.
Nous croyons que ce choix sera d'autant mieux accueilli par la colonie Suisse de Liverpool que, si nous sommes bien informes, elle avait, a peu pres a l'unanimite, sollicite du Conseil federal la nomination de notre concitoyen.

- Notre ville vient encore de perdre un citoyen qui, bien que retire depuis longtemps des affaires publiques, avait occupe dans notre patrie un rang tres honorable. M. Pierre FORGET, apres avoir figure avec distinction dans notre barreau, a rempli pendant longtemps les fonctions delicates de conservateur des hypotheques. Il a ete aussi un des membres les plus actifs du Conseil Representatif et du Grand Conseil, cree par la Constitution de 1842, qui l'avait appele a l'honneur de le presider. Ses connaissances juridiques rendaien son concours tres precieux aux legislatures dont il fit partie.
